City Heat

March 4, 2014

City Heat, CCHS’s mixed choir won Grand Champion, Best Vocals and Best Choreography in a field of nine competitors at East Noble. This is their second Grand Champion in three competitions.

Hannah Schaefer won her third Grand Champion in the Solo Competition. Her perfect record is understandable as she “wows” the judges with her performance of “Glitter and be Gay” from CANDIDE by Leonard Bernstein.

The high school show choirs travel to Bishop Luers Saturday, March 8 and Shelbyville Saturday, March 15. Both choirs will await their invitation to ISSMA State March 22 at Plainfield High School.
