Sights, sounds to celebrate Christmas

December 4, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — The scene is set for the holiday revelers to take a “journey to Bethlehem,” at the Community Christmas Celebration Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Whitley County Courthouse.

The event is free and will take place both on the lawn and inside the Courthouse.

Several churches and community organizations have come together to act out the Biblical Christmas story.

“This celebration starts the season with a remembrance of what Christmas is really all about,” said event coordinator Peg McCarthy.
