March 20, 2013

Andrew Wagner

CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco Junior-Senior High School Athletic/Activities Director Andrew Wagner will resign following the 2012-13 school year.

The SGCS Board of School Trustees approved Wagner’s resignation at its March meeting Monday.

Wagner is in his second year in the position. He had served three years as athletic director at Indian Springs Middle School, in Columbia City, immediately prior to his tenure with SGCS.

In the meeting, Board President Cathy Petrie read a portion of a letter from Wagner.

“The students of Churubusco Junior-Senior High School continue to amaze me each and every day, and I will miss interacting with them and every coach here. I have been fortunate to work with them these last two years. I would like to thank everyone for allowing me to be a part of this community.”

According to school officials, Wagner’s future plans are to work for a sporting goods company.
