SNAP AWAY ON JUNE 21: Special photo publication by readers

June 10, 2014

An open invitation has been issued to Whitley County residents to photographically document their life – one day only – on the longest day of the year, Saturday, June 21.

Photo submissions to this special Post & Mail project will be placed in a unique newspaper publication to be published in mid-July.

This is the second year for this fun summertime feature project in The Post & Mail.

“A Day in the Life of Whitley County” will herald slice-of-life happenings in our county community, such as community events, family outings, work-related activities – just about anything imaginable.

The main criteria is to execute good photography and detail, including location of people pictured, what they are doing, correct name spelling and any other pertinent information.

Photos must be snapped in Whitley County on Saturday, June 21 between 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., identify location of photograph, the activity and people pictured (left to right), and avoid stand-up group shots with your submission. We want to see activity.

How? Just be ready to snap photos of your activities Saturday June, 21. Take photos of individuals, families, businesses, organizations, teams, etc.

Plan on submitting your June 21 photos and info to: community@thepostandmail.com

Deadline for submissions is July 3.
