SNOW COLD RAIN: No end in sight for wicked weather
WHITLEY COUNTY — Snow. Cold. Snow. Cold. Snow. Rain. Thunderstorm — Snow. Cold.It appears the area is in a never-ending cycle of bad weather this winter.After being in a vicious cycle of snow and frigid temperatures, forecasters predicted warmer temperatures Thursday, bringing some hope for the beginning of the end of winter.But the “warm” weather Thursday wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.Though temperatures reached the upper 40s for the first time this year, it came with rain — a lot of it.“It is so damp outside, it doesn’t feel any warmer,” said Whitley County Emergency Director Cathy Broxon-Ball.
