SNOW COMING: Winter weather on the way for Whitley County

February 4, 2014

WHITLEY COUNTY — As if January’s record snowfall of 39.9 inches wasn’t enough, Mother Nature is brewing up another snow storm that is expected to come into the area tonight.

Amidst rumors of a 20- to 30-inch snow storm this week, forecasters are predicting a slightly more manageable 6 to 10 inches of snow in the next two days.

The storm is expected to start this afternoon and carry through Wednesday afternoon.
