Solutions bring resolution to plant problems
SOUTH WHITLEY — Permits have been approved and work orders have been signed that will finally correct mechanical concerns at South Whitley’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The corrected components come as the plant’s one-year warranty is coming to an end.At Tuesday’s Town Council meeting leaders approved two work orders — one for correcting hydraulics and the second for programming upgrades.“We did get the an OK from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, and we got our permits for the work,” said David Harvey a representative with Fleis & Vandenbrink Engineering, Inc. Council members authorized Harvey to partner with contractors to see that work is completed.
