South Whitley lands $600,000 grant

KENDALLVILLE — Lt. Gov Becky Skillman has awarded a $600,000 Community Focus Fund grant to the town of South Whitley in collaboration with the Region III-A Development and Regional Planning Commission, according to a press release issued by the commission.
The grant, according to the commission, will be used to fund a sanitary sewer improvement project.
The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) administers the grants, which are funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
