Stanley Loe, 91

Stanley Loe, 91, of Panama City, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at a local nursing home. He was a 26-year resident of Bay County, having moved here from West Palm Beach, Fla.
Mr. Loe was a member of First Pentecostal Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Silver Star while serving under General George S. Patton in the 80th Division. He retired from Rinker Materials as a chief estimator. Mr. Loe enjoyed fishing, golfing and square dancing.
Mr. Loe was predeceased by his grandson, Michael Weir, and by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Loe; his three children, Marcia Ellis (Pete), Ellen Taylor (Alan) and David S. Loe; and his brother, Phillip Loe of Fort Wayne.
A memorial services was held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Panama City, Fla.
