STATE OF CITY: Daniel to give address Friday

February 13, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel will give a State of the City address Friday at Parkview Whitley Hospital.

The event will be a luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Whitley County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the address.
Daniel will discuss his first year in office and will also allow time for questions.

Attendance at the event is expected to be robust. Doug Brown, executive director of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce, estimates 50 people have already made reservations.

Daniel expects his speech to cover the past year in office and give citizens an idea of where the city is heading.

The luncheon is open to current and future Chamber members, as well as community members.

To register, call the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce at 248-8131 or email doug@whitleychamber.com.

Cost is $10 for chamber members and $15 for non-chamber members.
