STORM NO MATCH: Eagles soccer win season opener 6-1

Columbia City defensive player and senior Nick Weber fights through his Central Noble opponent to keep the ball away from the Eagle goal Tuesday night. The Eagles gave up only one goal against the Cougars.

COLUMBIA CITY — Thunderstorms sparked the Eagles into a dominating win in their season opener Tuesday night against Central Noble, 6-1. After approximately 30 minutes of play, thunderstorms moved into the area, and the game was delayed until the coast was clear.
