SUNDAY BLAZE: Barn fire a reminder of dangers

COLUMBIA CITY — A barn fire in Union Township, just southeast of Coesse, was extinguished Sunday afternoon.

The cause of the fire, which left nobody injured, remains under investigation, according to Union Township Fire Chief Chad Radke.

Radke said the fire began in a dairy parlor and began to spread, but the crew was able to successfully control it.
