The February Mission Project of the Month is Habitat for Humanity.
In Whitley County, this group has completed four houses within the last seven months.
The Columbia City United Methodist Church Lent Study will begin March 2 through April 19, and the book to be studied will be Adam Hamiltonâ€™s 24 Hours That Changed the World.
Columbia City United Methodist Church is located at 605 N. Forest Parkway. Traditional services are on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and contemporary services at 11 a.m. with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.

Eberhard Lutheran Church would like to extend its thanks to Pat Murphyâ€™s band for providing music during worship this past Sunday.
The clothing bank will be open as weather permits. Those in need may call the church office 244-5059 before coming.
Sunday the youth will participate in the worship service as greeters, ushers, acolytes, element presenters and readers.
The youth group and Abigail ladies recently completed their â€śHugs from the Ovenâ€ť service projects with 50 casseroles.
These casseroles will be given to shut-ins, friends, or neighbors who may be in need of a ready-made meal.
The church will be holding its annual Shrove Tuesday Tenderloin Fry Tuesday March 4 in the Parish Hall from 4 to 7 p.m.
Dinner is an all-you-can-eat ternderloin meal that includes salad, dessert and beverage. Carry out will be available.

The food pantry will be open Wednesday and Friday from noon to 2 p.m.
The pantry is well supported by the congregation and the community. The needs are great, and the support is every bit as important in both contributions and volunteers.
Grace Lutheran Church cordially invites the community to worship Sunday at 9 a.m. with the Celebration of Holy Communion. Sunday school is at 10:15 a.m.
South Whitley UM
South Whitley United Methodist Churchâ€™s Pastor Rob Barton continues his series of discussion involving the book of James.
This is â€śFill the Cart Sunday when those attending are asked to bring non--perishable food items for the food bank to help those in need.
Michele Payton, music - technical and creative arts director, announces that Kelli Krider and a guest will provide special music in the Vintage service beginning at 8:30 am. The New Wine service will be held at 11 a.m. Small groups and coffee fellowship are held between these services.
Youth JAM will be held at Klepingerâ€™s home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend Troy Presbyterian Church Sunday for Sunday school at 9 a.m. and worship at 9:50 a.m.
The guest speaker this week will be Amanda Daniel. Her sermon title will be, â€śWhat Voices Do You Listen To?â€ť
The scripture reading will be Luke 15:11-32.
On Wednesday, Jesus For Life will meet in the Family Life Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

West Point Trinity UM
A new study group using 12-Step wisdom and biblical principles will begin the week of March 5 at West Point Trinity UMC, 4980 N. Etna Rd, Columbia City.
Two classes will be offered â€” Wednesday 10 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday 6:30 to 8 p.m. beginning March 5. The cost of the workbook is $17.
