SUSPECT CAUGHT: Police thank residents for diligence

WHITELY COUNTY — Thanks to the help of area residents, police took the fleeing suspect into custody at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials received reports that the man was around Goss Grocery on Ind. 109. When police arrived, the man attempted to flee again but was taken into custody by Indiana State Police Trooper Jon Amburgey.
