Suzanne â€śSusieâ€ť Heingartner, 77, passed away Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in South Whitley, she was a bookkeeper with Columbia Liquor and Sears retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Paulâ€™s Lutheran Church and was an avid IU fan.
Family requests all public attending to wear IU or red and white apparel to the funeral service.
She is survived by her sons, Dan (Carol) Heingartner of Avilla, and John (Norma) Heingartner of Fort Wayne; daughters, Mary (Ed) Crothers of Saint Joe, and Libby (Glen) Lothamer of Fort Wayne; brother, Hal (Bobbie) Trump of Columbia City; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Heingartner; parents, Cortez and Anne Trump; brothers, Malcolm (Louis) Trump, and Ted (Barbara) Trump; and sisters, Elisabeth Anne Trump, and Joyce Elaine Trump.
Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne. Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
