SWEET RIDE: WCCS board approves four new school buses

COLUMBIA CITY — Whitley County Community Schools Transportation Director Keith Kohut is preparing to replace four buses in the district after approval from the Board of Trustees Monday.

Kohut was present at Monday’s meeting to inform the board that he was ready to obtain quotes for the buses, which are part of the district’s approved bus replacement plan.

All four buses are 13 years or older, including a handicap lift bus that has more than 160,000 miles on it.
