TEAR GAS ENDING: Five-hour stand-off with police from alleged suicide attempt

LARWILL – A 41-year-old Larwill-area man was taken into custody Monday evening following a five-hour stand-off with police involving an alleged suicide attempt.
Jeremy Todd Gutherie was charged with pointing a loaded firearm and incarcerated at Whitley County Jail on $100,000 bond. His initial court appearance is set Dec. 3 in Whitley Superior Court.
