TENNIS TAG TEAM: Lady Eagle tennis off to strong start

Columbia City’s Macie Hinen (left) and Sydney Ford were tournament champions in No. 1 doubles at the Plymouth Invitational Saturday.

The Lady Eagles traveled to Plymouth for an invitational Saturday, with the No. 1 doubles team of Macie Hinen and Sydney Ford leading the charge.

Hinen and Ford won all four of their matches to earn the No. 1 doubles championship.

The Lady Eagles also topped county-rival Churubusco 4-1 Monday.
