Terry L. Pritchard, 64, of Columbia City, died at 2:40 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at his home after a two-week-long battle with cancer.
He was born April 12, 1949, in Wolf Lake, the only child of Harry R. and Betty I. (Thompson) Pritchard.
His formative years were spent in Richland Township. He graduated from Larwill High School.
He was employed at Weatherhead, North American Van Lines for more than 24 years and Auto Zone.
His memberships included Sons of the American Legion, Eagles #1906 and ABATE of Indiana.
Surviving relatives include four children, Todd A. (Connie) Pritchard of Kimmell, Kevin W. (Deanna) Pritchard of Ossian, Lisa R. (Steve) Shockney of Larwill and Keith W. (Julie) Pritchard of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren, Todd M. Pritchard, James L. Pritchard, Seth N. Pritchard, Natalie J. Pritchard, Kanyon R. Pritchard, Deanna T. Shockney, Kalie E. Shockney, Adelyn R. Shockney and Matthew B. Pritchard; his companion, Evelyn Egolf of Columbia City; a stepson, Tracy (Renee) Egolf of Larwill; four stepgrandchildren, Brandi (Josh) Duncan, Tara Schuman, Brandon Egolf and Damen Brown; and six great-grandchildren, Taylor Duncan, Carson Duncan, Wylo Duncan, Madaya Schuman, Dylan Schuman and Grady Schuman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step daughter, Tressa Lynn Clark.
The visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
