‘Thanks’ given to relay supporters

COLUMBIA CITY — The Whitley County Relay for Life committee would like to thank all those who gave in support of the fight against cancer.
According to Lisa Stoll and Tamara Carroll, the events chair persons, the Relay for Life event was, once again, a big success.
“Because of the support and generosity of so many, we had a very successful relay event on June 2nd and 3rd. It truly is a blessing to be a part of such a caring, giving and kind community and we would be remiss in not taking the opportunity to publicly say thank you to so many of you,” said Stoll.

Event organizers extend a special thank you in memory of those lost and in honor of the cancer survivors for all the inspiration they provide.
Stoll and Carroll also extend their thanks to the Whitley County Sheriffs Department and the volunteer officers who helped raise over $400 in the jail and bail fund raiser.
