THURSDAY'S WEATHER OUTLOOK

WHITLEY COUNTY (March 13, 2014) -- Today's weather should be rather mild compared to the snowfall that covered the area yesterday. However, there are still some slick conditions on side and county roads.

Whitko Community schools and Whitley County Consolidated Schools are closed today, while Smith-Green schools has a two hour delay.

Highs will be in the upper 20s this afternoon. Temperatures will climb to near 50 by Friday afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to drop a little Saturday and into the 30s Sunday afternoon, but temperatures are expect to warm up by the middle of the week again.
