TRAFFICE STOP: Pair from Chicago arrested on marijuana charges

COLUMBIA CITY — A traffic stop led to the seizure of $72,000 Sunday afternoon.

Whitley County Sheriff’s Deputy Cory Patrick stopped a vehicle on U.S. 30 near Ind. 5.

A press release from the Whitley County Prosecutor’s Office said while on the traffic stop, Patrick smelled the odor of raw marijuana.
