COLUMBIA CITY â While the Blue River Trail project is still progressing, the city asks local residents to keep away from the bridge and trail until next spring.
âThe project looks very nice, and Iâve received several calls from people who are interested in it,â said Columbia City Park Director Mark Green. âBut weâve also had a lot of people walking on the trail.â

âThe general consensus is that we would really prefer people to stay off of the trail until next spring, and we caution the public not to use it,â said Mayor Ryan Daniel.
