TRASH TALK: Service on schedule for Friday pickup

March 13, 2014

COLUMBIA CITY — Officials with Advance Disposal, Columbia City’s trash service, and Mayor Ryan Daniel have announced that trash pickup will be delayed a day due to Wednesday’s storm.

Trash normally serviced Wednesdays will be picked up today. However, Friday’s schedule will remain unchanged.

A date for Christmas tree pickup has be slated for Saturday, March 22. According to a press release from the mayor’s office, there will be only one pass through the city on that date for trees.

Residents who still have trees to dispose of should plan to have them placed along the curb Friday, March 21.
