TUESDAY: United Way's Day of Caring

September 17, 2012

COLUMBIA CITY — Organizations and representatives of various local companies will all come together Tuesday for the annual United Way Day of Caring, which begins at 7 a.m. with a breakfast at the Whitley County 4-H Fairgrounds.
“The United Way partners with other groups and corporations to go out in the community and do service projects that various service organizations might need,” said Cindy Baker, UWWC’s executive director.
“Some of these groups have various areas of expertise that can help these organizations.”
Approximately 30 projects are being conducted during the all-day event.
