Turtle Town Players, a community theater group from Churubusco, entertained audience members Sunday with music featuring an animalistic theme.

“Celebrate Animals” was a concert to benefit the Whitley County Humane Shelter, Columbia City. The event was held at the Churubusco United Methodist Church and featured a variety of local talent.

Although there was no charge for the concert, a freewill donation was taken. In the end, $400 was raised for the shelter.

“Stray Cat Strut” was the name of singer, Donovan Geiger’s song performed to benefit the Whitley County Humane Shelter this past Sunday.
