COLUMBIA CITY â€” Perseverance and dedication paid off for two Whitley County young men Saturday.
Joe Becker and Kable Coyle were sworn in as Eagle Scouts at Grace Lutheran Church in the presence of friends and family.
To become an Eagle Scout, the highest level of scouting, both boys were required to complete a rigorous list of requirements, including earning more than 21 merit badges, complete a service project and serve in a position of authority.
