Two Troop 81 scouts earn Eagle designation

CHURUBUSCO — Two teens recently earned the highest scout rank — Eagle Scout.

Trevor Kelley and Austin Lampe were presented with their designations Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Churubusco Boy Scout Building.

In spite of the weather, the two Troop 81 Scouts received their Eagle Scout Award with several Eagles in attendance as well as leaders, family, friends and troop members.

Kelley is the son of Karen Kelley of Churubusco and Lampe is the son of Len and Erin Lampe of Churubusco.

In order to achieve the rank of Eagle, each scout had to earn 21 merit badges, 12 of them required for Eagle.
