UNDER THE LIGHTS: Football opens season tomorrow

WHITLEY COUNTY — Area football teams are taking a final day of preparation before the season opens tomorrow night. Scrimmages last week were a gauge of the teams’ progress in the offseason, and the squads open with 7 p.m. games Friday.
