Verba Mae Wilson, 73, a resident of Eel River Township in Allen County died at 5:43 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Seward, Neb. on March 9, 1939, a daughter of Earl W. and Esther E. (Eicher) Stutzman.
On Nov. 18, 1957, she married Lyle G. Wilson, who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Gina Cole of Wabash; two sons, Robin Wilson of Rogers, Ark. and Scot Wilson of Pigeon, Mich.; a brother, Cloy Stutzman of Milford, Neb; two sisters, Joyce Buschert of Goshen and Pauline Hochstetler of Philadelphia; a sister-in-law, Ruby Stutzman of Commerce City, Colo.; and five grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Stutzman; and by a brother-in-law Dave Buschert.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Central Church, 5801 Schwartz Rd., Fort Wayne, with Pastors Don Delagrange and Phil Miller, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m., or at the church one hour prior to the service Sunday afternoon.
Interment will be in the Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill.
