Prize offered for best name of new senior center

By BECKY HAND
Community editor

The Whitley County Council on Aging and Senior Center have decided a new name should be given the new Senior Center building and they are willing to pay $100 to the person who comes up with the new moniker.
The new Senior Center should be ready for occupancy in August or September and the Council on Aging and Senior Center board of directors, who will remain the same and retain their name, feel a new name for the Senior Center will portray a new image for the center.
Anyone can submit an entry, and all submissions will be considered, as long as they are received by 4 p.m. July 18.
Send them to Jackie Hake, 603 W. Van Buren St., Columbia City, IN 46725.
The board will then consider and vote for the winning entry. The winner will be presented with their prize at the grand opening of the new center.
