A 17-year-old rural Columbia City teen was critically injured Saturday night when the four-wheeler he was driving left the roadway and rolled over.
Adam J. Rumsyre was headed north on Raber Road, just south of county road 900 S at 10:47 p.m. Saturday, when the ATV he was driving left the road and rolled over.
According to the police report, Rumsyre left the east side of the road for unknown reasons, then once he returned to the roadway lost control and rolled the ATV.
Rumsyre was thrown from the ATV, the report said, and found unconscious by a resident.
Rumsyre was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne with a head injury.
He was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.
