A raid on a mobile home Monday evening in Columbia City resulted in the arrest of a man for allegedly selling meth. Thirty-year-old Anthony A. Adams of Churubusco was arrested without incident at a home on Countryside Drive in Columbia City and charged with dealing methamphetamine as a class B felony, possession of hypodermic needles and a class D felony, maintaining a common nuisance as a class D felony, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, according to Whitley County Jail records. He is being held on a $56,000 bond. His girlfriend who was also at the home, 20-year-old Danelle M. Swihart was charged with visiting a common nuisance and is currently out on bond, according to jail records. According to officers with the Whitley County Drug Task Force, the investigation stemmed from two meth buys from Adams, one of which allegedly occurred at his home and another at a different location. Inside, police found what appeared to be marijuana, paraphernalia, psychedelic mushrooms and methamphetamine. Officers said further charges could be filed against Adams as the investigation continues.
