Jolly Old St. Nick gives a young admirer a high-five Friday afternoon after he arrived in town to set up shop on the courthouse square. After pulling in on a Columbia City Fire Truck, Santa and Columbia City Mayor Jim Fleck pulled the switch to turn on the lights to the decorations on the lawn and in the trees at the courthouse. Santa will be at his house located on the courthouse square every weekend through the Christmas season. His hours are 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays and noon to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.  He will also hear last-minute requests from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Christmas Eve.
