After a nearly year-long investigation, local police have arrested the manager of a local tattoo parlor on charges of allegedly selling marijuana from the business. Forty-year-old Ronald N. Baxter was charged Wednesday with two counts of dealing marijuana, two counts of possession of marijuana and one count of being a habitual controlled substance offender, according to the jail booking. Police with the Whitley County Drug Task Force said they went into Artistry In Ink II, located on West Van Buren Street, on Wednesday with the Whitley County Health Department as well. In addition to charging Baxter with the dealing and possession charges, police found a man outside the business who was allegedly in possession of several methodone pills. Police charged 20-year-old Ryan A. Lende with possession of a controlled substance as a result of the find. An official report was not yet available. |
