Friday, April 25 2008

By ANDREW SHULTZ
Sports Editor

A senior season of dominantion in the paint and a 15.5 points per game average have given notice to Columbia City’s Jordan Moss long after the basketball season has ended.
The six-foot four-inch Eagle center put forth the hardwork and was selected to the Indiana team for the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic.
The annual event pits some of Indiana’s best players against a similar roster from the state of Ohio.
Moss brought his Columbia City career to an end in 2008 with Northeast Hoosier Conference honors. Moss served as the second highest vote-getter for the All-NHC first team.
In head coach Dave Parker’s first season, Moss and the rest of the Columbia City Eagles mounted a 10-12 record with a sectional win over West Noble 56-37.
Moss will represent Columbia City one last time Saturday. The Eagles’ leading scorer will join the rest of his Indiana teammates on a trip to Indiana Tech where they will take on Ohio at 7 p.m.
For those hoping to watch Moss in action, admission to the game will be $5.
