Annual Big G’s tournament open and slated for June 21 |

It’s summer time again and once again the annual Big G’s Sports Cafe 2008 Columbia City Classic is slated and ready for action.
The three-on-three formatted basketball tournament is scheduled to fill the Whitley County Courthouse Square June 21.
The tourney is open to boys and girls divisions of nearly every age group ranging from ages 10 and under, 19 and over and all in between.
Four players may compose a team with an entry fee of $100 per team. With participation, all players will receive a T-shirt and trophies will be awarded to top places in each division.
The day long basketball event, is not only full of competition. Refreshments and food from local businesses help give a festival type atmosphere to the day’s events.
Benefitting from the money earned by the classic, the Columbia City boys basketball boosters raise the money for the boys basketball program.
