The Route 33 Cruisers gathered together to show off classic cars at Advantage Auto Parts in Columbia City. Car owners met twice a month during the summer to display their nostalgic vehicles. The group’s organizer, John Van Houten, said the car show is open to any owner and there is no fee to participate. However, owners are asked to bring canned food items. The group donates the items to local food pantries. Van Houten said, “I just delivered about $400 worth of cans to Grace Lutheran Church.” For more information on Route 33 Cruisers, contact Van Houten at 248-8632.
