Vivian Sikma, formerly of Columbia City, passed away Sept. 28, 2011 at Brighton Gardens, Port St. Lucie, Fla.
She was born Jan. 18, 1915, in Union Township, to George and Nora (Campbell) Miller.
She graduated from Washington Township High School in 1932.
On April 6, 1934 she married Robert Hendrickson and they made their home in Columbia City. He passed away July 7, 1968.
She married William Sikma Oct. 20, 1973 and they lived in Columbia City until 1999 when they moved to Stuart, Fla. Mr. Silma preceded her in death Oct. 2007.
Mrs. Sikma was a member of the United Methodist Church since 1938. She held many offices in the Columbia City Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a seamstress.
Surviving relatives are her daughter, Judy (Cal) Heathman, granddaughter Rhonda (Mark) Blakey and great-grandson Ben Blakey all of Port St. Lucie, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her son Herbert Hendrickson of Tampa, Fla. in 1995, sister Cleo Stetler, Syracuse and her brother, Russell Miller and Herbert Miller, South Whitley.
Burial will be at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, Fla.
