WALKING GETS EASIER: Town receives $262K boost for improvements

SOUTH WHITLEY — Good news was shared by South Whitley’s Town Manager Dave Wilkinson at Tuesday’s meeting.

More than $262,000 was awarded to the town for its sidewalk improvement project.

The money was made possible by a grant through the Federal Highway Fund, and will allow South Whitley to make its sidewalks ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant.
