WATCH OUT: Col. City police advise drivers to avoid U.S. 30

COLUMBIA CITY (July 10, 2014) — The Columbia City Police Department advises drivers to avoid U.S. 30 at Ind. 9 due to traffic congestion.

Road construction in the middle of the intersection, along with bridge construction between Ind. 9 and Ind. 205 will be causing significant traffic backups and other issues.

Intersection work is expected to be completed around 9 a.m., at which point construction crews will move causing lane restrictions west of Columbia City.
