WCCS attends school board conference

INDIANAPOLIS — The annual Indiana School Board Association Conference was held Sept. 26-37 in Indianapolis and several Whitley County Consolidated Schools board members attended.
The board members reported on the conference at their regular session earlier this week.
Board member Deborah Hiss said she found that in comparison to many Indiana schools, Whitley County is ahead of the pack in many areas.
“It’s very impressive to know that we’re doing as much as we are for our students,” Hiss said.
