WCCS boasts stellar report card

COLUMBIA CITY — Whitley County Consolidated Schools received its second consecutive “A” for the 2010-2011 school year.
All elementary schools in the country are graded by the “No Child Left Behind” federal law. WCCS elementary schools: Mary Raber, Northern Heights, Coesse and Little Turtle all got an “A” for their Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).
There are no signs posted in the hallways, but Julie Turpin, principal of Mary Raber Elementary School is celebrating.
