WCCS considers buying corporation vehicles

COLUMBIA CITY — Amidst a recent budget crunch that included the release of more than 20 teachers, the Whitley County Consolidated School Corporation’s Board of School Trustees is more than a little resistant to spend money on a couple of vehicles.
At its regular board meeting last week, the board heard a presentation from corporation Business Manager Tony Zickgraf and Superintendent Dr. Patricia O’Connor about the need for corporation vehicles for the school district’s maintenance director and transportation director.
