COLUMBIA CITY â€” Amidst a recent budget crunch that included the release of more than 20 teachers, the Whitley County Consolidated School Corporationâ€™s Board of School Trustees is more than a little resistant to spend money on a couple of vehicles.
At its regular board meeting last week, the board heard a presentation from corporation Business Manager Tony Zickgraf and Superintendent Dr. Patricia Oâ€™Connor about the need for corporation vehicles for the school districtâ€™s maintenance director and transportation director.
