WHITLEY COUNTY (Jan. 22, 2014) -- Snow showers are possible today through the afternoon with up to an inch in accumulation. Cold temperatures will call for extra layers, gloves and hats as the high is expected to reach 15 degrees, but wind chills will be 15 below zero.

The cold temperatures will stay through the end of the month. Highs will only be in the teens through Friday and back into the 20's for the weekend. Another surge of bitter cold air comes in next week and throws the region back into the cold.

We could see more accumulating snow late Friday night and early Saturday.

Tonight: Snow likely through midnight with up to an inch possible.

Winds: W 10-15 mph, with gusts to 25 mph.

Winds: NW 10-15 mph, gusts to 20 mph

Thursday Night: Clearing and bitter cold.

Low: -7°

Winds: NW 5-10 mph
