Whitko, Col. City tennis split match

COLUMBIA CITY — Whitko’s and Columbia City’s tennis teams split a condensed match Monday afternoon at Whitko High School, in South Whitley.

The competition consisted of two singles matches.

Columbia City’s Niko Rongos topped Wildcat Tyler Baugher 7-6, 6-1 in No. 1 singles.

Rongos is now 2-0 on the season.

“Niko is very talented,” Columbia City Head Coach Ryne Winger said.
