Whitko falls to Rochester

Whitko’s softball team lost to Rochester Monday, 7-0.

The Lady Zebras grabbed four runs in the second inning and three more in the sixth to make the final score 7-0.

Karissa Olinske pitched all seven innings for the Lady Wildcats. She had two strike-outs, gave up a walk, 10 hits, seven runs and five errors in 30 at-bats. Though the Lady Wildcats never made it to home plate, Whitko managed five hits, led by Olinske with two.

Audra Day, Cassie Jones and Emily Weigold all recorded one hit apiece. Weigold led the team in put-outs with four.
