Whitko falls to Wawasee

SOUTH WHITLEY — Despite a late comeback, Whitko’s girls soccer team lost to Wawasee Wednesday night in South Whitley.
With a two-goal deficit, Whitko’s Ellyana Blue scored a goal with 38 seconds left in the game to bring the score within one, 4-3.
Though Blue put in a strong effort, Wawasee managed to score another goal with nine seconds left in the game to take a safe 5-3 lead to win.
