Whitko girls soccer ties Woodlan, 1-1

SOUTH WHITLEY ­— After 80 minutes of play, Whitko’s girls soccer team tied Woodlan Saturday morning, 1-1.

Lady Wildcat senior Ellyana Blue scored Whitko’s lone goal in the second half to tie the score, after Woodlan scored the opening goal in the first half.

Blue had 11 shots on goal, and teammate Heather Bryan tallied two shots on the mark, as well as Blue’s assist.

Reghan Craig and Bridget Thompson each had a shot on goal as well.
